Oliver Torr & Aggelos Paitakis

Oliver Torr and Aggelos Paitakis present a live audiovisual transmission built around their collaboration. The performance operates through live camera feeds, unstable visual routing and improvised sound. Image and audio are signals under pressure: received, interrupted, delayed, re-recorded and pushed back into the room. Nothing is fully fixed. The work behaves like a partial broadcast from another version of the same event. Torr performs released material alongside new sonic research. Paitakis works through live visual systems informed by his practice across time-based media, microscopy, VFX and moving-image production. Together they try to construct melting instability by interconnecting their performance systems. Made for a cinema setting, the piece uses the screen not as a surface for illustration, but as a receiver. The room becomes a live circuit. Sound searches for an image and the image searches for its source. The audience enters during the signal, not at its beginning.
